Founded in 2017, Ucarra began with two architecture students driven by a passion for style backed by substance.
Each collection is the result of six months of intricate planning, blending current trends with timeless design principles. Sustainable Fibre Transition: From Conventional to Preferred Materials
Preferred Fibres
Ucarra defines a preferred fibre or material as one that results in improved environmental and/or social sustainability outcomes and impacts compared to conventional production.
When Ucarra works with preferred fibres, we acquire the correct documentation to prove the chain of custody. This is a priority process to ensure our customers receive their desired fibre.

Conventional → Recycled Nylon
Conventional cellulose → Cellulose fibres of certified origin
Conventional cotton → Cotton of a certified origin Recycled Cotton

Soft Plastics Waste Management
As an e-commerce business, we acknowledge that our logistic operations can have a significant environmental impact. We are committed to continuously reviewing our processes and adopting best practices to reduce our impact where we can.
We currently recycle 100% of our clear soft plastic waste in our Distribution Centre by partnering with a reputable waste management partner that allows us to divert our clear soft plastics away from landfill for the best chance to be recycled.
