Each product is meticulously crafted in Sydney over six months, using high-quality materials while maintaining affordability.

100% Tier 1 traceability achieved; expanding to lower tiers via CSR initiatives and ethical sourcing software.

Environment
Ucarra expects our suppliers to work towards reducing our environmental impact during the manufacturing stages of our products while adhering to the expectations of our Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) at all times.

Human rights
At Ucarra, we believe the human rights of every person should be protected. We have a number of areas where we have implemented expectations to safeguard workers against any form of abuse including:  
Child labour - Ucarra aligned our expectations to protect against child labour with ILO conventions 138 and 182.
Discrimination/ Harrasment - Ucarra prohibit any form of discrimination or harrasment across any part of our business operations. Additionally, Ucarra supports gender equality in all workplaces in all touch points of the business.
Modern Slavery (including forced labour) - Ucarra is committed to the elimination of all forms of modern slavery across our business operations.
Pandemic protection - Ucarra expects all Suppliers and Factories used in the manufacture of Ucarra products will provide a satisfactory level of cover and response to any local or global pandemic in the Country/Region of operation.

Workers rights
Workers rights - Ucarra expects all Suppliers, Factories and Sub-Contractors involved in the manufacture and supply of products to Ucarra to ensure they have implemented practices that respect and safeguard workers’ rights under local, national and international laws and regulations. These expectations also include the following specific requirements:
Labour rights - Ucarra expects all workers general labor rights to be protected and adhere to all legal requirements surrounding their employment.
Contracts - Ucarra expects that every worker must be provided with a written employment contract.
Freedom of Association - Ucarra expects all workers to have the right to Freedom of Association and the right to collective bargaining.
Grievance Mechanisms (Workers voice) - Ucarra expects that all workplaces must implement an impartial grievance and complaint mechanism for the employees to utilize.
Regular employment - Ucarra expects for all workers to have a right to regular employment and a regular working wage.
